Why choose the Cloud Native Engineering major in ECE’s engineering curriculum?

The use of the Cloud has become particularly prevalent within companies. This low-cost technology enables the management of gigantic volumes of data and transforms the way we work.

To meet the growing demand for profiles specialized in the Cloud and capable of securing sensitive data, ECE, the digital engineering school, has developed the Cloud Native Engineering major. In just two years, you’ll become Cloud computing experts, able to design Cloud solutions tailored to the needs of a wide range of companies and customers.

What is the Cloud Native Engineering program?

The Cloud Native Engineering major in the Engineering curriculum trains you to manage data and Big Data, optimize data center energy consumption and design efficient Cloud solutions that meet corporate security objectives.

You’ll learn how to build a relevant Cloud strategy and deploy it by designing and using appropriate algorithms and architectures. Finally, you’ll learn how to manage a team, an essential skill for your professional career.

What diploma do I get after completing the Cloud Native Engineering major in the ECE engineering curriculum?

ECE is a private engineering school accredited by the CTI(Commission des titres d’ingénieurs). As such, it meets the highest standards of engineering training, and at the end of the Grande École program, delivers a recognized engineering diploma at bac+5 level.

What are the career prospects for the Cloud Native Engineering major?

At the end of your Grande École program, you’ll have the title of engineer and will be able to apply to a wide range of companies. The Cloud Native Engineering major will enable you to consider the following positions in particular:

What are the admission requirements for the Cloud Native Engineering major in the ECE engineering curriculum?

The Cloud Native Engineering major is available in the 4th year of higher education. You can join after completing the first three years of the ECE Grande École Engineering Program. However, it is also possible to join this major after having completed a bac+3 in computer science, for example.

Is it possible to study abroad while choosing the Cloud Native Engineering major?

You can also go abroad if you choose the Cloud Native Engineering major. You can do your internship abroad in 4th or 5th year, or study abroad in 5th year in one of ECE’s partner schools. In some cases, this last option enables you to obtain a double diploma, one from ECE and another from one of the school’s 130 partner universities.
