Why choose the Embedded Systems major in ECE’s engineering curriculum?

A blend of computing and electronics, embedded systems are found in many of the objects we use every day, such as cameras, smartphones, drones and GPS. They can also be found in vehicles, aircraft and a wide variety of other sectors.

However, these complex systems require specialized skills and IT expertise. In order to respond effectively to the need for qualified profiles, ECE offers you the opportunity to join the Embedded Systems major in the 4th year of the Grande École Engineering Program.

Spread over two years, this specialization equips you with the knowledge and skills you need to create innovative embedded systems. By the end of your course, you’ll be fully operational and able to work in fields such as sustainable mobility, personal assistance and intelligent transport.

What is the Embedded Systems program?

With ECE’s Embedded Systems major, you’ll master software engineering and the modeling of complex systems. You’ll learn how to create architectures and analyze the risks of cyber threats.

What is the diploma obtained after completing the Embedded Systems major in the ECE engineering curriculum?

At the end of your two years of study in the Embedded Systems major, you’ll graduate with a Bac+5 engineering degree. This diploma is registered with the RNCP.

ECE is one of the engineering schools accredited by the Commission de titres d’ingénieurs. It therefore meets the highest expectations in terms of engineering training.

Aware of the importance of opening up to the world and to other cultures, ECE strongly encourages student mobility during their studies. By enrolling in the Embedded Systems major, you’ll have the opportunity to do internships abroad, or tostudy abroad in 5th year. In particular, you can prepare for a double degree with the ECE and one of the school’s foreign partner universities.
